Finally, the EB-5 visa program is back in its new Avatar. I am sure many of you would have heard about the passing of the EB-5 Reforms and Integrity Act, 2022.

Summary of the main changes and how they will affect you:
- EB-5 Regional Centre program extended 5 years – till 30th September 2027
- Concurrent filing of Adjustment of Status (I-485)
- EB-5 Investment amount increased to $ 800,00 for TEA and $ 1,050,000 for non-TEA projects
- Reservations of Visas for Rural and Infrastructure projects
- Greater compliance on Regional Centres to protect the interest of investors
- Restrictions on Direct Projects
The most significant change for investors already in the US – The file for Adjustment of Status (I-485) along with the EB-5 petition (I-526)
